Danski death metalci Exmortem bodo v bližnji prihodnosti izdali EP in 7” single. Na EPju Pest Campaign 2003 bo pet koncertnih pesmi, posnetih aprila v Valencii ter na novo posneta verzija Intoxicated By Death z Labyrinths Of Horror albuma. Na 7” singlu Killstorms bo še neobjavljena verzija naslovne pesmi iz leta 1998 in Autopsy priredba Critical Madness. Chaosbreed je nov death metal projekt iz Finske, ki ga sestavljajo sami znani glasbeniki: Nalle Österman bobni (ex- Gandalf), Oppu Laine - bass (ex- Amorphis, Mannhai), Marko Tarvonen kitara (Moonsorrow), Esa Holopainen - kitara (Amorphis), Taneli Jarva - vokal (ex- Sentenced, The Black League). Na njihovo glasbo so vplivali bandi kot Entombed, Dismember, Carnage, Grave, Unleashed, Autopsy, Repulsion, Carcass, Slayer in Morbid Angel. Trenutno pripravljajo material, ki ga bodo poleti s Tomasom Skogsbergom posneli v Sunlight Studiu. /M.P./

The Ravenous, band Chrisa Reiferta (ex- Death/Autopsy), Danny Lilkerja (Nuclear Assault) in Killjoya (Necrophagia), bo kmalu izdal EP s štirimi pesmimi, v začetku prihodnjega leta pa mu bo sledil še celoten album Blood Delirium. /M.P./

Murder Squad, band Dismember in Entombed članov, se trenutno pogajajajo z založbami, kjer bi izdali album Ravenous, Murderous. Pri snemaju albuma je sodeloval tudi bivši Death/Autopsy bobnar Chris Reifert. /M.P./

Avgusta izide nov album od Abscess z naslovom Through The Cracks Of Death. V bandu igrajo Chris Reifert (bobni, vokal, ex- Death/Autopsy), Clint Bower (kitara, vokal, ex- Hexx), Danny Corales (kitara, ex- Autopsy) in Joe Allen (bass, ex- Von). Album izide avgusta. /M.P./

29. julija izide nov album Američanov iz San Diega Cattle Decapitation z naslovom To Serve Man. V njihovi glasbi se čutijo vplivi Carcass, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse in Autopsy. /M.P./

Bivši Death/Autopsy bobnar Chris Reifert se je pridružil Švedom Murder Squad, kateri so začeli pripravljati nov studijski album Ravenous, Murderous. Album bo so že posneli marca, izšel pa bo kasneje letos pri še neznani založbi. /M.P./

Death metal veteran in bivši pevec Massacre Kam Lee se trenutno ukvarja s tremi projekti. Prvi se imenuje Kauldron - gothic, horror, death, doom bend, katerega glasba temelji na Possessed, Sodom, Bathory. Vključuje tudi bivše člane Equinox. Drugi Cadaverizer je pravi old school death/gore v stilu Autopsy in Desecrator. V njem pa igrajo tudi bivši člani Exhumed. Tretji Soul Skinner pa je one men project in je mešanica horrorja in erotike. /M.P./
