Power metal zasedba Warkings se naslednje leto odpravlja na turnejo po Evropi. Turneja For King And Crown Tour 2024 bo tako pričela 1. marca na Dunaju, ostale datume turneje pa si lahko ogledate na priloženi sliki.

Italijanski power metalci Frozen Crown, ki so marca letos izdali šesti dolgometražec Call Of The North, sporočajo, da so podpisali z založbo Napalm Records. 

»We're happy and honored to join the Napalm Records family and we're ready for our next big step together! Since we founded this band in 2018 we worked hard incessantly, day after day, not only trying to put our best in our studio albums and live, but also managing the band all by ourselves, conquering every single little accomplishment with our DIY attitude, always keeping loyal to our (extremely) small entourage. Thanks to the support of our lovely fans, Frozen Crown eventually grew bigger, and got to a point where we were not able to handle it all by ourselves anymore. Soulfly, brazliski veljaki pod vodstvom Maxa Cavalere, se trenutno mudijo po Evropi. Med turnejo jih bo 26. julija pot zanesla k našim južnim sosedom, in sicer v klub Močvara.

Heavy metal legende W.A.S.P., ki smo jih lahko pred nedavnim ujeli na enem izmed naših odrov, sporočajo, da bo nov album luč sveta ugledal poleti naslednje leto. To je pred kratkim v intervjuju za radijsko oddajo The Five Count radio show potrdil vodja zasedbe Blackie Lawless.

»From the time the U.S. tour ended [last December], we went straight back in the studio and we were working really hard to try to get it ready for August of this year, but it's just not gonna happen. It's one of those kinds of things that… I think we've got a big fish on the hook, and I don't wanna let it go before it's ready. I was talking to the guy that does the mixing for our records yesterday, and he asked me what I thought. And I said the best I could tell him would be spring of next year that we'll be ready for him. So if he starts in the spring, that means the soonest it would be ready would be summer.«

Italijanski death metalci Gory Blister so se pridružili založbi Eclipse Records. Pri njej bodo namreč 8. septembra izdali nov studijski album Reborn From Hatred, spodaj pa že lahko prisluhnete prvemu singlu Greedy Existence.

Moderni metalci No One Cares so včeraj izdali EP Pause/Reboot. Ob izdaji so objavili nov videospot za svoj drugi single Scary Thoughts.

Švedski moderni metalci Amaranthe so predstavili novega vokalista Mikaela Sehlina in obenem še nov single Damnation Flame.

Portugalski groove metalci Brain for the Masses so posneli videospot za pesem Seclusion s svojega lanskega debitantskega EP-ja z naslovom Monachopsis.

Angleški doom metalci The River so posneli akustično različico pesmi Exits, ki je del njihovega albuma A Hollow Full of Hope, ki izide ta petek. Seznam pesmi:

V začetku leta smo poročali, da so združili moči švedski black metalci Ofermod, Poljaki Black Altar in grški Αχέροντας (Αcherontas) za skupen split album z naslovom Drakonian Elitism, ki naj bi izšel 21. junija preko Odium Records. Od založbe zdaj prihaja sporočilo, da bo split izšel septembra ali oktobra, medtem ko lahko že zdaj plošček prednaročite.

Nemška kraljica heavy metala Doro je za 27. oktober napovedala nov, že 14. album z naslovom Conqueress: Forever Strong and Proud, ki bo izšel preko Nuclear Blast Records. V ta namen že zdaj v obliki videospota v posluh ponuja komad Time For Justice.

Nemški slam/brutal death metalci Acranius so objavili video za nov single Determined to Rule.

Nemško-ameriški heavy metalci Veil Of The Serpent s priredbo komada Burning Times praznujejo 25. obletnico albuma Something Wicked This Way Comes od Iced Earth. Besedilni videospot lahko preverite na YouTubu.
