Švicarski black metalci Cold Cell sporočajo, da so združili moči z založbo AOP Records. Band je konec lanskega leta zaključil snemanje petega albuma, ki bo tako izšel pri novi založbi. Več informacij sledi kmalu.

Floridski tehnični death metal veterani Nocturnus AD predstavljajo pesem Yesod, The Dark Side of the Moon s prihajajočega albuma Unicursal, ki ga bodo 17. maja izdali pri založbi Profound Lore Records. Tracklista:

Ta mesec se po stari celini mudi avstralski hard rock band Tarot, ki po izbranih klubih predstavlja sveže izdani drugi album Glimpse of the Dawn. Po zaslugi Kvlt ov Seitan lahko Tarot danes zvečer prisluhnete v klubu Gromka na Metelkovi, kjer bo za ogrevanje poskrbel slovenjgraški stoner metal/rock trio Woygn, ki se je lani predstavil z debitanskim EP-jem Ascendance.

Organizatorji dogodkov Hangtime Agency sporočajo, da je nedeljski koncert zasedb Grima in Ultar v zagrebškem klubu Močvara odpovedan. Odpovedana sta tudi koncerta v Beogradu in Novem Sadu ter tudi 40 drugih nastopov skupin po Evropi. Zapletlo se je namreč pri vizah. Izjava banda:

»Dear followers of the Grima cult, sometimes even the biggest and oldest spruce tree can't withstand (in)human acts. There is a point where we have to bow down and accept what cannot be changed.
After 4 months of non-stop efforts from everyone involved behind the scenes, the best we got is a 30 days stay in the Schengen area. We have applied for a 90 days arts science visa, which we have been granted in past years, but not this time, the reasons have not been communicated to us.
We did everything we could do, Asgaardian Events and even Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions helped us as much as possible, but all we got are these 30 days for now, which we shall use to the fullest.
Our first show will be on the April 25 in Switzerland and the last one will be on the May 22 in Paris. Any other show will be cancelled. There will be no further rescheduling. We will be happy to see each one of our cultists at these shows. We won't have any other Central European tours in the near future, except a few festivals next year, which we are already negotiating with.«

Stonerji Horseburner bodo 21. junija izdali četrti dolgometražec Voice Of Storms. Izšel bo pri založbi Blues Funeral Recordings, spodaj pa prisluhnite prvemu singlu The Gift.

Deftones se po nekaj letih zatišja vračajo na sceno z novim albumom. Kot je v intervjuju za radijsko postajo KROQ povedal vokalist Chino Moreno, je instrumentalni del albuma že posnet, zdaj je potreben le še njegov vložek na vokalih. To bo nova izdaja banda po letu 2020, ko je izšel album Ohms. Kdaj točno bo izšel novi plošček zasedbe, pa za zdaj še ni znano.

Konec prejšnjega tedna je izšel prvenec avstrijskih black/death metalcev Graufar, ki nosi naslov Scordalus. Temu lahko zdaj v celoti prisluhnete tukaj.

Stoner/sludge/doom band High On Fire je objavil video za naslovni komad prihajajočega albuma Cometh The Storm. Album izide konec naslednjega tedna, natančneje 19. aprila, pri založbi MNRK Heavy.

Po izdaji EP-ja Realms, ki je izšel pred tremi leti, italijanska death metal zasedba Olamot končno napoveduje izid prvenca Path of Divinity. Album bo izšel 29. aprila pri Lethal Scissor Records, band pa v posluh ponuja single All Seeing Eye. Celotna tracklista je taka:

Hrvaški instrumentalni psy stoner dvojec Mycena je na Bandcampu izdal album Serendisarray.

Album sta posnela Aleksandar Vrhovec in Marin Mitić, poleg tega pa so še sodelovali ti glasbeniki: bobnar Gio Maucieri, saksofonist Vedran Momčilović in Viktor Vrhovec na klarinetu. Miks in mastering je naredil Aleksandar Vrhovec.

Norveški dvojec Darkthrone je objavil videospot za komad Black Dawn Affiliation s prihajajočega albuma It Beckons Us All, ki ga bo 26. aprila izdal pri založbi Peaceville Records. Album obsega te naslove:

Deathcorovci Chelsea Grin sporočajo, da je vrzel na bobnarskem stolčku zapolnil Josh Miller. Zasedba se je pred kratkim razšla z bobnarjem Pablom Viverosom in tako je nov polnopravni član zasedbe postal Josh. Izjava banda:

»We hope everyone has been doing well; we have some updates. We have parted ways with our fill-in drummer, Nathan Pearson. We sincerely value his friendship, as well as his devotion to furthering his craft and bringing his all to the stage. We truly look forward to watching his drumming career continue to blossom and advance, and value his time with us.

Furthermore, the band and Pablo have mutually agreed to separate. Pablo is one of our oldest friends, the life of the party, a masterful player, and a powerful creative. After Pablo spent some years away from the band, we all came together and realized that personal visions had diverged through time. We will always wish the very best for him, and seriously value all that he brought not only to the band, but to our lives. Nothing but tremendous love for him, always. We also encourage everyone to show support for him, Jaek and Alex’s new band, Ameonna.

Moving forward, we are proud and excited to announce that Josh Miller will be joining Chelsea Grin. It goes without saying that the future is bright – you will hear it in our music and witness it in our performances.

Ljubljanska progresivna stoner zasedba Ambra predstavlja komad People and Ash, ki je nastal na live sessionu v studiu Metro. Band boste sicer lahko v živo ujeli skupaj z Blu.Sine v Mariboru.

Nedavno smo poročali, da so madžarski ekstremneži Exodikon podpisali z založbo Wormholedeath Records, pri kateri je konec marca izšel album Chaosophilia. Band sedaj predstavlja tudi nov video za komad Untermensch – The Psychics of Deceivers.

Hrvaška stoner/doom/sludge metal zasedba A Gram Trip je napovedala EP z naslovom If We Leaf Tomorrow. Ta bo izšel 23. aprila in bo prinesel tri komade:
