Bruce Dickinson je na Sweden Rock Festivalu odigral naslednje Iron Maiden klasike: Revelations, Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter, The Prisoner in Powerslave. Poleg tega pa še polno komadov iz vseh svojih solo albumov: Silver Wings, Back From The Edge, Broken, Accident Of Birth, Dark Side Of Aquarius, The Tower, Tears Of The Dragon, Laughing In The Hiding Bush, Innerspace in Tattoed Millionaire. Za konec je odigral še priredbo Toma Jonesa, Delilah. Podobno set listo lahko pričakujete tudi v Wacknu. /M.P./

Symphony X pripravljajo nov studijski album, ki bo izšel septembra in naj bi bil po strukturi podoben njihovem Divine Wings Of Tragedy. Na njem bo en daljši epski komad, ostali pa bodo krajši, udarnejši. /M.P./

11. marca se svojim 4. album The Headless Horseman vračajo najbolj znani avstralski heavy metalci Pegazus. 28. januarja izide nov album Švedov Wolf z naslovom Black Wings. Kot istoimenski prvenec je tudi ta album produciral Peter Tagtgren. Na njem bo tudi Mercyful Fate priredba A Dangerous Meeting. /M.P./

Piet Sielck (Iron Savior) je produciral prvenec novincev Airborn, pel back vokale in z njihovim pevcem odpel duet v pesmi Wings. Band zaenkrat še išče založbo. /M.P./

S snemanjem novega albuma The Headless Horseman so končali avstralski power metalci Pegazus. V naslednjih dneh jih čaka še miksanje in dokončno oblikovanje plošče. 19. novembra bo izšel singel Wings Of Freedom, ki ga bodo izdali G.R.S. (German Rock Stars). Izkupiček bo namenjen žrtvam 11. septembra. In kdo so »nemške rock zvezde«? Doro Pesch, Andi Deris (Helloween), Ralf Scheppers (Primal Fear), Mat Sinner (Primal Fear, Sinner), Jean Beauvoir (Crown Of Thorns), Lenny Wolf (Kingdom Come), Michael Bormann (Jaded Heart) in Andreas Broon (ex- Sisters Of Mercy) ter še mnogi drugi. /M.P./

Black Wings je naslov novemu albumu švedskih heavy metalcev Wolf, na katerem je tudi Mercyful Fate priredba A Dangerous Meeting. V kratkem bodo posneli še dve priredbi in sicer I'm Not Affraid Of Life od Ramones in Die By The Sword od Slayer. Prva bo izšla na Ramones tribute albumu, druga pa na njihovem singlu. /M.P./

Oktobra končno izide Symphony X koncertni album Live In Europe. Septembra bo izšel 2CD Best Of Bruce Dickinson, na katerem bodo komadi iz njegove solo kariere od leta 1990 do 1998. Poleg znanih pesmi bosta na albumu tudi dve novi, Silver Wings in Broken, ter še nekaj koncertnih in do sedaj neizdanih.
